Need to crochet poncho?
Dear everybody,
Today post for those who need a poncho. I do. This free pattern from makeanddocrew.com
Only half double crochet stitches – increase, and decrease.
I made you something here and I hope you will understand where’s to start.
So, it starts from the red line. We need to increase (2 hdc in same stitch) only in one side, continue (the grey line) to crochet across (no increasing anything) – from one shoulder side until you reach the other side, and start to (blue line) decrease (2 hdc together – only in one side).
After make 2 parts of those above (back and front panel), we need to sew them together and crochet the colar (the green rectangle) and make the pocket (no need this if you don’t want).
And … finish ✔️
Very simple, no stress, only need the stitch marker (my suggestion, because I lost once where exactly my increase and decrease was stopped).

👉 If you are not comfortable with hdc, you can replace them with single or double crochet stitch, or even make it lacy with lace pattern and you can start from any side.
